What temperature water should l use?
Please use only cold tap water with your Travel Pod. Using hot water when you start a cleaning cycle means there is a risk that the water temperature can rise above the recommended safe level for some oral appliance manufacturers. Please note that the Travel Pod has an active heat regulation system to mitigate this risk.
Should I clean my oral appliance every day?
Yes, daily cleaning of your oral appliance with the Travel Pod is recommended to ensure oral hygiene. The ultrasonic technology is safe for all appliance types and can be used regularly without causing any damage.
Will the Travel Pod damage my dental appliance?
No, the ultrasonic cleaning technology is non-abrasive. It creates millions of microscopic bubbles which gently but thoroughly clean the entire surface of the appliance without damage. The Travel Pod is designed to safely clean many kinds of materials ranging from metal to aligner plastic.
Can I run multiple cleaning cycles?
Yes, you can run up to three consecutive cycles, ensuring that you have used cold tap water. If you'd like to run additional cycles, you must replace the water and wait at least 5 minutes to ensure the longevity of your device and your appliance.
Can you put two appliances in the Travel Pod at once?
Yes, the Travel Pod is designed to effectively clean a pair of small items at the same time, such as jewelry, dental appliances, or earbuds. For optimal performance, make sure the items are not stacked or touching each other, so the ultrasonic waves can reach all surfaces evenly. We do not recommend cleaning items from different users at the same time, as this may increase the risk of cross-contamination.
What if I see no visual results after a week?
If you have not seen a visible improvement after a week, we recommend pre-soaking your oral appliance with a cleaning tablet in the Travel Pod for 10 minutes, then simply run two complete cleaning cycles. This enhanced routine might need to be followed for a minimum of two weeks to observe visual changes. Even without visible results, the Travel Pod helps with removal and cleaning at a microscopic level.

Is it safe to use the Travel Pod in the bathroom? How waterproof is it?
The device is rated IPX6 for water resistance, which means it can withstand splashes, rain, and water spray (e.g., from hand washing or a water jet), but it should not be submerged in water. It also has circuit short protection for added safety. To prolong the product’s lifespan, avoid direct water contact whenever possible.
Will the mirror inside the lid cut my hand?
Not at all. The inner mirror is made of PC (polycarbonate) material, which is shatter-resistant and smooth to the touch, ensuring safe and worry-free use.
Why can't I see the UV light when the lid is open?
That’s actually by design — and it means your UV light is working perfectly! Your safety is our priority, so we've built in a magnetic safety sensor that only allows the UV light to turn on when the lid is fully closed. This prevents any exposure to UV light while the device is in use, so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your oral appliances are being sterilized safely and effectively.
How do I clean the Travel Pod after each use?
The 304 food-grade stainless steel tank is made from a durable, antibacterial material. To maintain hygiene and prevent bacterial buildup, we recommend rinsing and brushing the tank with the supplied cleaning brush after each use.
